Lauren Johnson To All Instructors

Lauren Johnson earned a Bachelor of Art in International Business and Japanese Studies. While in Japan, she taught English as a Second Language before developing business plans for local offices. After a few years working in Japan, Lauren returned to America to earn a Masters in Finance and Accounting. She has spent the past 20 years as a Tax Accountant both in the public and private sectors in three states. Finances can be quite difficult and one of the hardest parts of being an adult. Lauren knows how to make it fun with a touch of reality. Lauren and her husband moved to Richmond in 2021 with their son. They knew they would always homeschool while bringing a focus on both child development and international cultures. Lauren spends her free time practicing Japanese, blowing on her saxophone, and traveling somewhere new.
