Aja Moore To All Instructors

Aja Moore is originally from Iowa and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology with a minor in Linguistics from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, a Master of Arts degree in Audiology from the University of Northern Iowa, and a Master of Arts degree in Human Services with a concentration in Conflict & Mediation Ministry from Regent University.

Before transitioning into full-time homeschooling and education, Aja spent 20 years serving as a corporate process improvement leader and consultant, helping organizations improve systems, strengthen teams, and create more effective and collaborative environments. She brings that same passion for growth, problem-solving, and relationship-building into the classroom.

Aja and her husband, Gary, have four amazing children whom they have homeschooled since 2020. As a homeschool mom and educator, Aja has developed a deep passion for teaching reading and language arts, helping students build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and discover the joy of learning. She has also enjoyed teaching within the CCA community and is excited to begin her second year as a classroom teacher, after being part of the CCA family since 2020.

Outside of the classroom, Aja and Gary enjoy supporting their children in their many extracurricular activities, including soccer, dance, orchestra, golf, basketball, and swimming. They also treasure their monthly, non-negotiable date nights exploring the Richmond area and creating lasting family memories.

Aja is passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and personally while encouraging them to use their unique gifts and abilities. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the CCA community and looks forward to sharing her love of learning with students and families.
